Grey-and-buff Woodpecker -  Full Skin - Taxidermy - Milliner - Lords Of Rivers

Hemicircus concretus

Charming little vintage bird, it is witness to the Golden Age of the hat (Chappellerie) shop and Parisian Milliners!

Indeed, you will easily see in the photos below the bird a metal link coming out of the body, which was intended to allow the hanging of it on a hat.
This bird is perfectly «traceable» and we know its history at Lords !

It dates from the period 1920-1960!
And they belonged to a famous Maison Modiste, the Maison Brataux! Founded by Julia Brataux in the 1920s.
This bird is a piece of history!

Please take into account that the birds in this collection are between 80 and 100 years old! , Photos are an integral part of the description, feel free to zoom in 100%! In order to see the state of the bird, some, in addition to the feathers to be copied, have tears!
