The agami trumpet is very rarely offered to fly Tyers, yet it is a most interesting material for the assembly of Spey flies!
A bird the size of a domestic chicken or a pheasant. Its plumage is black except the lower back which is gray ash. A diffuse band of reddish brown colour separates at the centre of the back the black of its upper part from the grey of its lower part. The wings are strongly curved and always kept away from the body. The tail is covered by the fluffy feathers of the back, which spread out on the rump and which gives the bird its rounded and arched appearance. The neck is quite long and black and the short neck feathers offer green and purple metallic highlights. Its short and powerful beak, which resembles that of a gallinace, and its relatively long legs, are greenish.
It also offers a wide range of possibilities for free-style montages.
The body is delivered in a 70 cm by 50 cm by 5 cm high post box.
It is held on a black cardboard acid-free by links and protected by a waterproof bag.
An identification plate is glued to the cardboard containing all the information on the bird, as well as its identification.
Skin from French breeding held by capacitary people.
