Tragopan de cabot is a pheasant that is certainly less famous than its cousins the Satyr, the Temminck or the legendary Western. It is however renowned and highly prized by famous Victorian tyers who uses it for many years for their tying whether they are Victorian or artistic.
These red-brown feathers, beautifully adorned with a yellow/cream dot surrounded by black are used on the cheeks, wings of Victorian flies or on Stealhead flies and Streamers.
Surely one of the most beautiful skins we have seen! It is an exceptional specimen.
The skin is delivered in a mail box 70 cm long (27.6 in) by 50 cm width (19.7 in) by 5 cm high (2in).
It is kept by ties on an acid-free black cardboard and protected by a waterproof bag.
An identification plate is laminated on the cardboard containing all the information about the bird, as well as its identification.
Skin from a French breeding farm owned by capable people.
Breeding recognized by the State Washington Convention annexe I.
Identification ring on the bird's leg + Certificate Cites.
